don’t worry, we midwives will stay by your side even during the corona pandemic. We are flexible and do our best every day to adapt to the almost daily changing working conditions. We hope that you, too, are open to trying new ways of care. Below you will find brief and concise information on the current changes.
Home visits during pregnancy and childbirth are still possible in compliance with the current Corona rules.
The first time together with the newborn after birth is unforgettable. Of course we understand that grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends and acquaintances want to visit the young family. We ask you to keep a close eye on the current contact and exit restrictions and to adhere to them.
Preliminary talks serve to get to know each other, to discuss the services to be provided and to collect all the necessary data on the “history of the patient or the pregnancy”. If no examination is required, midwives may offer this service as a home visit, video call or telephone call.
Birth preparation courses and postnatal gymnastics are medically indicated courses and may be held both face-to-face and online according to the current Corona regulations. Please ask your midwife about this.
