Dear women and families with newborns,
You can contact the midwife service if you have found NO midwife, your baby has been born and you need support, help and advice. For postpartum care after the birth, a midwife will visit you at home. This service is for women who live in the city of Schweinfurt or in the district of Schweinfurt. The services are not just for emergencies, but for regular postpartum questions and check-ups.

We need one time (for the first booking) Your address and insurance data, dates of birth of you and your child. This is only neccassary before the first appointment. By depositing and agreeing to data protection, you agree to the terms and conditions of the Schweinfurt midwifery center.
If a service is available, do the following:

For example, do you want a visit on 12/02, then you must register on 12/01. registered by 12:00 a.m.
To avoid misunderstandings, please send your contact details and the child’s date of birth.
(usually 3 days after birth, after caesarean sections 5 days after birth) and we do NOT necessarily recommend that you go home early if you wish.
After registration, the midwife will plan her route and get in touch with you. Please make sure you can be reached by phone from 12:00 a.m. on the day before your booking. If you are not available, no home visit can take place!!!
(e.g. if you would like to visit on December 2nd, you must have registered by 12:00 a.m. on December 1st) If you register after 12:00, the requested home visit may take place on the next available date.
You can find this as a download at the end of this page. The midwife will present you with an acceptance of the treatment contract for you to sign when you visit your home.
The midwife service is for midwife-related questions about the health of mother and child. A home visit takes 30-60 minutes. The duration of the visit depends on the state of health of mother and child, as well as on the number of home visits that the midwife has to make that day.
The midwife service is purely a service provided by the self-employed midwives from the Schweinfurt region. It cannot be guaranteed that this service will always be available.
